Cooperative "EKO tikslas" is founded on 2006-12-28 in Rokiškis, organic farmers from the initiative.
At present, the cooperative has 63 members. Cooperative members carry goods and services circulation of this cooperative and participate in its management, makes decisions on the future of the cooperative activities. Cooperative objective is to collect and provide cooperative members the necessary information to help them cheaper to buy the production of the necessary materials, and most importantly cooperation of their organic products and realize the right price.
Cooperative "EKO tikslas" is NMA approved by the Ministry of Agriculture in 2007. 11 July. No. 07-300629081-212 milk collector, having the right to buy from farmers and milk companies. At present, the cooperative buys certified organic milk from Rokiškis, Kupiškis, Utena, Anykščiai, Molėtai, Ukmergė, Biržai, Jonava , Ignalina, Švenčionys districts. Over the years, the cooperative members are bought and sold more than 7 million kg. certified organic milk. Cooperative members total certified organic arable land area of about 5,000 hectares of ecologically farmed cows 1200 pcs., offspring of 450 pieces and beef cattle is considered about 250 units.
Cooperative members on their farms also grow a variety of crops, fruits, vegetables, herbal medicines and various herbs.
At present, the cooperative has 50 organic farms, which are located:
Rokiškis, Kupiškis, Utena, Anykščiai, Molėtai, Ukmergė, Biržai, Jonava districts.
Cooperative "EKO tikslas" willingly invites other organic dairy farms.
Cooperative "EKO tikslas" in 2016 installed the organic milk refilling station.
From this milk refilling station, organic milk are distributed to other countries and to the Lithuanian processing enterprises. Before pouring organic milk, always check the quality of milk, as well as the absence of antibiotic residues (test with "Charm EZ Lite"). This milk refilling station, organic milk safely, with a special equipment, self-contained way is pumped into the arrived milktrucks. Ballpoint all the necessary documents and a guest with organic milk goes back to his factory.
